Clydesdale Community Initiatives – About Us
We are an independent charity and social enterprise that supports people to contribute to their community (as our name suggests). In this section we will try to do our best to break down a little “about us” explanation as to what we actually do here at Langloch Farm.
Our participants face a range of challenges; health, disability and social circumstances, but our focus is always on their strengths and interests. Through their participation in our social enterprise and community activities, participants are supported to improve their health, learn new skills, increase their confidence and find new opportunities.
Our mission statement is simple; “everyone contributes, everyone gains” and by following this founding mission we strive daily to ensure our participants are not judged purely on the sum of their challenges, but rather viewed as useful members of their local communities, work teams, and further education classes.
You will see from our social inclusion and development structure exactly how we operate. We aim to help each participant equally and to the best of their abilities. Our expert placement support staff have years of experience teasing out the best department and skills for each participant.
