Something new at Langloch Farm for the Easter holidays!
On Fridays 10th and 17th April, our Langloch Farm Woodcraft team will be running Woodcraft Workshops for children. 🔨🪚🪛
Children aged from 8 to 18 can come along to learn basic woodworking skills and build their own trough planter for the garden to take home.
The workshop runs from 10am to 12pm and costs £25.
A novel way to spend a day in the Easter holidays! We expect this to fill up quickly so book now using the QR code or go to langlochfarm.org/events-and-classes.
And once your child has built their planter, remember to pop over to the new Langloch Farm Garden Centre (opens 3rd March!) to get some gorgeous seasonal plants to fill it! 🌸🌺🌼

We are delighted to be stocking framed art by Vicki Fraser of Creatively Vicki, in our Barn Gift Shop.
Check them out on your next visit to Langloch Farm. We think you'll love them as much as we do! ❤️
And remember that by purchasing a unique crafter's product from the Gift Shop you are not only supporting a local maker, you are also supporting our charity.
Doesn't that feel good?

Thirteen years after we were first there, the CCI Environment team are back at Coulter Primary School, landscaping it’s outdoor area. As part of our work there this week, volunteers David, Ross and Andy did a tremendous job of cutting back the willow tunnel.
This is just one example of the work that we do in the wider community, providing our volunteers with real on the job experience and opportunities to learn new skills and build confidence.

At CCI at Langloch Farm, it’s all about the team work!
Just for you in The Barn Tea Room today …. this deliciously large Lemon Drizzle Cake, made by Simone and drizzled by Euan. It’s big in flavour not just in size! 🍋😋
Wouldn’t that be just the thing with a coffee or a cup of tea? ☕️🫖

As part of their experience with us at CCI, we offer our volunteers Taster Sessions with other local organisations.
This week a few of our volunteers, who have an interest in wildlife and conservation headed down to the Falls of Clyde Wildlife Reserve and Visitor Centre at New Lanark.
There, they joined Lyndsay Mark and her team of volunteers, in the tree nursery for a winter tidy up.
