Could you give a little of your time to be a Walk Leader?Kindness is contagious – spread it!
Get Walking Lanarkshire is looking for more walk leaders for their friendly walking groups across Lanarkshire.

If you enjoy walking and would like to help others become more active, then we are looking for you! You’ll meet new people, improve your own health and wellbeing and see your walkers improve too.

Health walks are free, easy local walks, lasting no longer than an hour. No previous experience is needed, just a friendly nature and the availability to lead a walk on a regular basis. Free training is provided.

Come and join us on Saturday 19th September, as we welcome Susan McMillan Visual Artist back to CCI at Langloch Farm for a workshop in Floral Semi-Abstract Art.

Susan's main artistic influence is nature and many of her artworks reflect her love of the outdoors. Susan works with a variety of mediums to create her expressive semi-abstract paintings. 🍃

During this workshop, which runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm, Susan will share her working process to help you create your own semi-abstract painting. Flowers from the gardens at Langloch Farm will be used to introduce texture using a variety of mixed media. 🌺

This workshop is suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced and all materials will be supplied. 🎨
