We were delighted to host a visit of the Digital Employability and Social Computing Group from Lanark Universal Connections YFCL (Youth, Family and Community Learning), as well as staff from Connect2 Renewables. The group enjoyed a tour of CCI at Langloch Farm and were very impressed with the facilities available, including Clydesdale Women's Shed, with some expressing an interest in the volunteering opportunities.
Rachel of Connect2 Renewables said, “Partnership working in the rural area is crucial in supporting local people with employment. Fiona and the Team at Universal Connections have done some great work with the group and it is good to see some real opportunities opening up. CCI plays a valuable role in improving health and wellbeing and building on confidence and self-esteem. We are lucky to have them in our area.”
Everyone contributes. Everyone gains.
