CCI can work with schools and other community groups to provide practical support and advice to them. We strive to provide opportunities to practice outdoor skills and enhance learning. We can support activities such as willow weaving, fire making, path building, sowing, planting and veg growing.

Several of our team members and volunteers are involved in the ScotRail adopt- a- station programme for 8 sites in Lanarkshire.
Planters and half barrels get planted up in the springtime and autumn with seasonal plants and in conjunction with community groups and schools from each area.
The current sites we planted up and the groups who worked alongside us include:
- Wishaw
- St Aidan’s Nurture Group
- Whifflet
- NHS Coathill patients
- Carfin
- Taylor High School
- Blantyre
- CCI volunteers
- Coatbridge Central
- Coatbridge High School
- Holytown
- Taylor High School
- Sunnyside Coatbridge
- Coatbridge High School
- Coatdyke
- Albion Rovers Buddies
At our site here at Langloch Farm we host a number of fantastic independent organisations and work alongside them for mutual benefit:
- Clydesdale Women’s Shed
- The Friends’ Shed (also known as EDIFY)
On site, we also have
- Lanark in Bloom
- Clyde Valley Orchard Group
- Lanarkshire Beekeepers’ Association
